Weekend Away

We have plenty of opportunities to meet, talk, plan and reflect in the course of the year. But the “big one” is the parish Weekend Away which takes place in alternate years. On the last four occasions (most recently in May 2008) we have stayed at Sneaton Castle - a residential and conference centre on the edge of Whitby.  The programme is always arranged to provide an interesting and enjoyable time for all age-groups - an opportunity for planning, prayer, discussion and renewal, with a fair amount of free time (whatever you choose, in fact) to enjoy the varied delights of Whitby itself and the North Yorkshire Moors.  The next Weekend Away is already being thought about - with the possibility of a change of venue.  Keep an eye open for details in due course.
